On February 6th we launched our #matchtheword contest, which encouraged contestants to go out and interact with the Dutch environment in a fun way. We came up with some Dutch words, like ‘sprankelend’ and ‘inspiratie’, which participants had to match with a real life place or situation. Creativity was key here, and this resulted in some great submissions!
However, there can only be one winner who gets to join us in Amsterdam for a free Dutch group course. After careful consideration, we managed to pick one..
The ‘gezellige’ class of Juf Ola

These children help me learn Dutch every day. I do spelling with them, reading, presentations – all that, as if I was one of them. They make me feel #gezellig. Their laughter is the biggest reward. These ten-year-olds are nothing, but patient, understanding, kind and oh-so funny! I feel so safe, when I try speaking in Dutch among them. No judgement, just pure help from their side and all I have for them is my thankfulness 💘🌞 #thekoentactway #matchtheword #jufOla
We simply loved the entry of Ola, an elementary school teacher in Abcoude. She got her entire class involved in the making of the picture, and their happy faces show they did not mind at all! The whole scene looks very gezellig indeed.
The free group course is rightfully yours! Congratulations form the Koentact team, and see you soon.
