That depends mainly on the group size. For groups of 5 or more students, we recommend about 24 hours of lessons to move up one level (for example, from A1.1 to A1.2). Smaller groups or private lessons often progress faster.
- A0 to A2: Completing Dutch Experience 1 to 4 (A1.1 to A2.2) typically requires around 96 hours of instruction.
- A2 to B1: Advancing through Dutch Challenge 1 to 3 (B1.1 to B1.3) generally takes about 72 hours.
