Business Dutch Course Amsterdam

In-company Dutch courses for small groups

Would you like your employees to feel at home in the Netherlands, speak (a bit of) Dutch in their private lives and at work, and integrate into life in the Netherlands more easily? Our tailored In-company Classes are what you are looking for!

Location:
A Koentact trainer can come to your office. No travel fee if the class takes place within city limits. Classes can also be taught online.

Time/ day:
You can select the day and time that suits your colleagues best.  The most popular choices are early morning from 8:00-10:00 am, around lunchtime 12:00-14:00, or after work from 17:00-19:00.

Duration/ frequency:
We recommend at least one 2-hour class per week. If you would like to improve more quickly, having a class twice per week for 1.5 hours is a good option.

Trainer:
We will make sure to select a trainer that matches your request. After the first class, you can let us know if your colleagues are happy with our choice.

Participants:
We recommend a minimum of 3 and a maximum of 12 participants.

Content:
You will select the content of the class yourself. It could be an introductory course to make sure your employees integrate better in the Netherlands or a more business skills-related class. See here for a description of the levels.

Extras:
Lessons can be rescheduled up to 24 hours in advance, and participants can take part in all of Koentact’s school group activities. See below for more details.

Price:
Prices depend on the number of hours and the number of participants per group. Contact us for more information.

Why take an in-company class with Koentact?

1. Fun, social and energetic classes

After a long day of work, our trainers make the class fun and interactive through lots of role-plays, quizzes, and fun activities. We’ll invite one of your Dutch employees to be interviewed by the course participants so they can practice their skills with someone they know.  When the class goes out for drinks to celebrate their progress, the bitterballen is on us! We can host lovely Dutch lunches in which we match up the Dutch course participants with their Dutch colleagues to really put into use what they’ve learned. Koentact is all about being social!

2. Field Trips

At Koentact, we are known for our Field Trip lessons, during which our group course students discover Amsterdam by meeting local and international people while being fully immersed in the Dutch language and culture. Your employees or colleagues can participate in these activities for free.

3. Free intake

If you are interested in our In-company Dutch Courses and would like to know more about our method, contact us. If you have colleagues with different levels of Dutch, we provide free level assessments. We can stop by your office to discuss your company goals and assess the proficiency level of your employees.

4. Free review classes (up to level A2)

Did your colleagues have to miss some classes because of business travel and they do not want to fall behind? Or would they like to clarify what they’ve learned so far? Then the review classes are the place to go! Twice per month, students can join this class for free to make sure they can catch up on missed lessons, or work on the grammar that was introduced earlier that week.

5. Free coaching for the Civic Integration Examination

Some of your employees might want to be able to pass the citizenship exam. From Dutch Experience 3 (A2-) onwards, you can join our free civic integration workshops. We offer three workshops of 2.5 hours each. The workshops are consecutive, so taking all three will give you enough information to prepare yourself for het inburgeringsexamen on A2 or B1 level.

6. Evaluation of your progress

Your progress will be evaluated during the course to determine if you are ready to go on to the next level. You will receive a certificate of attendance at the end of the Dutch classes.
